SATURDAY 20th September 2pm - 5pm
Acroyoga FUNdamentals “Get Grounded”
Acroyoga is an exciting and FUN way to explore our bodies. Lets get grounded in the basics of AcroYoga so we can build from a strong solid foundation of support and trust. From the ground up we'll find connection thru the foundation principles of Alignment - (bone-stacking), Tightness and Balance. Laying the foundation of basic technique, language and principle concepts will set the stage to explore more creative and advanced practices in the following workshops.
Beginners to Advanced practitioners will be respectfully challenged.

SUNDAY 21st September 10am - 1pm
Master Class “ Time to Rock it”
Once a solid foundation is laid and the framework has been set, it is time to fill in the gaps! Layering different patterns of movement that rotate and spin us along the horizontal and vertical axises, we engage in a full experience of acrobatic flying. Acrobatic flying and being upside down is more fun and beneficial than we can imagine. We will learn techniques to guide us into smooth take offs and steady landings, dynamic postures and creative flowing transitions. Full engagement . Full Satisfaction. A Powerful Transformative Experience.

SUNDAY 21 September 2pm-5pm
Community Workshop “ The World is our Playground”
The bond of true friendships come from the act of playing together...
As Plato voiced “you can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. ... “ The reasoning being that during play people are more apt to be themselves, to drop presences, to let their hair down and let the real personality come through.
The seeds of our community workshop are nurtured in creative play. This is an opportunity to soften the edges and relax into a space of interconnection and sharing of each other’s joy. A chance to dive into Improvisational play and spontaneous experimentation giving way to creative activity and self discovery.

MORE ABOUT ACROYOGA
AcroYoga is a practice that attracts a community of adventure seekers who
believe we stay young at heart from playing. Playing stimulates us physically and
mentally, and those that play together grow together.
AcroYoga is a blend of three enduring practices: yoga for flexibility of body and mind, acrobatics for agility and strength building and Thai Massage to balance the active and dynamic with nurturing therapy. This combination cultivates trust, connection and fun. Our ambition is to inspire individuals to realize their highest potential.

THE PRACTICE
We value that together we go places that we cannot on our own...
The practice of AcroYoga is based on safe guidelines, so the art of 'spotting' is central to our workshops. The spotter is the person who keeps each movement safe and supported. You will experience working in trios exchanging roles of a base, a flyer and a spotter.
Our workshops are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. We gauge the room and then tailor the workshop experience to our participants, no two workshops will ever be alike.
We will playfully discover inversions, partner yoga and strengthening exercises as building blocks for the acrobatic practices. The practices of therapeutic flying and Thai massage are then used to ground and balance these high energy art forms.
No partner is required but curiosity, playfulness and a childlike approach is
recommended to get the most out of this practice.
